Keener Management was founded in 1984 with a single townhouse in Dupont Circle. We have grown exponentially, but our attention to detail, our commitment to quality, and our conviction of service and integrity has never wavered.

We manage more than 2,100 apartments across eighteen buildings in eight of Washington's most desirable neighborhoods — buildings developed by Keener-Squire Properties and held by the same family ownership since the firm's beginnings. We don't flip portfolios. We don't sell to the highest bidder. We keep the buildings, and we keep the people.

Our 80-person team spans property managers, maintenance and cleaning personnel, and the front desk attendants who remember a resident's name on day one. The person who rents you the apartment is the same one greeting you on your way home from work each day.
