Great place to live! We've lived here for a year now, and it's been very nice. The location is perfect - very close to several metro lines. The management is great, very accommodating, and extremely prompt and helpful. They are very responsive and really look after their tenants! I would definitely recommend living here.

I have loved living in this building. The units are renovated and quiet, with high-quality appliances, and the building is kept in great shape. Also, the management company for this building is exceptional. The people who work onsite, Norma and Ian, are kind, responsive, and helpful. They know everyone by name and sight and go out of their way to make people feel at home. Maintenance requests are completed immediately, and the building even does preventive maintenance (like clearing out the drains annually). I would highly recommend living here!

My husband and I have lived in Sutton Plaza for nearly 4 years now and we have only wonderful things to say about it. We would happily recommend it to anyone searching for a convenient and well-maintained apartment in DC.
Yes, the apartments are small - welcome to Downtown/Logan Circle. But we've found the value quite high. The location is great, and all the finishes had just been redone when we moved in: new gas range/oven, dishwasher, fridge, microwave, wood flooring, cabinets. And while the HVAC can be a bit noisy at times, it works well at heating and cooling the apartment even in DC's extreme temps.
But the best part about living at Sutton Plaza has been the management. Ian, Norma, Lisa, and all the staff have been terrific. They are immediately responsive to questions via email, always around on site during business hours (plus after hours for the concierge), and were so easy to work with. Example: Once an important and valuable package of ours went astray. UPS said it was delivered but it wasn't in the package room. Ian replied immediately to my email asking for help and, after I told him the time UPS said it had been delivered, he checked the security footage for the building on the date in question and let me know that the UPS delivery that day had actually come 10 minutes later than reported on our delivery notification. The package, Ian said, had probably been mis-delivered to a neighboring building. All of this correspondence happened within a couple hours. Ian was right, and after I notified UPS of the suspected mix-up, they retrieved and delivered our package the next day.
This is just one example of the Sutton Plaza management team being a dream to work with. As an added plus, the core staff of the building hasn't changed in our 4 years here - something that's really rare in a multi-family building in DC.
Overall Sutton is a great value for your rent dollars in Logan Circle, and the building management adds peace of mind. We couldn't be more pleased.

Sutton Plaza is a quiet community, conveniently located int he heart of DC.
My unit had excellent natural light throughout the year and it was completely renovated when I moved in.
Management and staff were always friendly and helpful, they solved my issues with diligence regardless if it was 1 a.m.!
I truly enjoyed my time there and would have no reservations to move in again whenever life brings me back to the District.

Words cannot explain how much I grew to love this community. I'd have to start with the fact that this was the first home that my partner and I shared together. The space was small, 420 square feet, but the way the apartments are laid out never made it feel small. The staff were always quick to respond to a maintenance request. The common areas were spotless and the staff also throw community events for everyone to come by and chat. you couldn't beat the location of the community just two blocks north of downtown, two blocks from the Green/Yellow line, off of the 14th St. corridor and blocks away from beautiful Logan Circle.
I wholeheartedly recommend Sutton Plaza. Especially if you're a young couple looking to find your first apartment in the city.

I have been living at Sutton Plaza since end of April and love my apartment and location. The staff are really nice and accommodating. There are leasing agents/property manager available during all days other than Sunday. Norma and Ian have both been very kind to me. But during the evenings and weekends, there are front desk staff/guard monitoring who are coming in and out of the building, which is great and makes me feel very safe and secure. I seriously need to learn their names since I see them everyday lol But both are very nice and accommodating......

Yeah! go sutton! My sister lived in these apartments for a year in DC. The establishment and main lobby are very clean. The security was very vigilant and kind.
When office hours are available, the housing staff are available for questions, comments and requests. My sister had a one bedroom. It was rather small, yet cozy if you had small furniture. It is rather slender.
Otherwise, it stayed warm in winter and the location is easy to walk or run to monuments and see the white house.
I lived here for a year, and I highly recommend Sutton Plaza. Pros: - The management (Norma and Ian) are amazing. They are very responsive and friendly. Whenever building-wide maintenance is scheduled, they let us know well in advance. Any maintenance requests are performed before I get home from work. - The walls are well insulated. Never once did I hear the tenant from next door. - Never had a bug or rodent issue. - Apartments are renovated and have a washer/dryer in unit. Good water pressure and nice appliances. Cons: - No rooftop - Fitness center is a little small, but it's nice to have it there in the winter
I've lived in several apartment buildings throughout the years, and Sutton Plaza is one of the best. It isn't a fancy building, but it has all the necessary amenities (laundry, on-site maintenance, recycling, elevators in good repair) and even some perks (small onsite gym, front desk staff, secure bicycle storage, package storage and delivery). I've never seen any evidence of bugs or pests, and the building is clean and quiet. However, what Sutton Plaza excels at most is COMMUNICATION. The staff always gives us plenty of notice when they'll be testing the alarms, conducting a repair, or doing annual maintenance like replacing furnace filters. This is incredibly important and helpful, since after living in a different "luxury" building that told us absolutely nothing about this kind of stuff, it's really important to know when the alarm system will be tested, the water will be turned off, etc. Also, Sutton Plaza only conducts these types of maintenance tests/repairs in the middle of the day on weekdays when most people aren't home anyway. The staff at Sutton Plaza really seems to care about the residents, which in my opinion, is something more important than a brand new building with all the latest amenities.

This is a wonderful building in DC-amazing location, beautiful and updated apartments, and a quiet nice community. The leasing and concierge teams are the nicest, most helpful people I have ever worked with. They are so helpful and responsive, and make living here feel like a real community.
