The Hamilton House

Hamilton House resident for 2 years. Great location, facilities, cleanliness, and overall support. Apartment was newly renovated, spacious, great AC, and highly efficient layout (two large closet spaces). I would also like to highlight George, Sondra, Tony, Julia, and the superb maintenance team. One of the best places to live in DC.

I have been living here for a year and a half, and now I'm moving out for work. Before I moved in, I did my homework, checked all possible sites looking for reviews. This building was one with the best reviews. Now, after 18 months, I can say everything was right.

The location is excellent and offers a lot of possibilities.
Building manager George helped me from day one. Very responsive and interested in any issue that may occur.
Front desk, especially Sondra and Tony, are always there and ready to help or give advice.

Facilities are very well maintained and clean. The thick wall will secure your privacy and giving a feeling of being alone in the building.

I would highly recommend living here. People managing this building are great, and they will make you feel at home.

This past year was the first time I ever lived on my own and I was so worried that I was going to feel isolated. George and everyone else working at The Hamilton House made it known, right away that this building is not just a place to live, but an environment that is conducive to forming a community.

Whether it be holiday parties in the lobby, friendly residents, or just a quick wave from the front desk, I have always felt safe and comfortable in this building.

For the few times that I have needed repairs done or even some help with figuring out simple appliances, maintenance is always quick to help and always friendly.

I can not recommend a better place to live.

Absolutely phenomenal place to live in DC. George and his staff are great to work with and really take care of their residents. Very safe area, lived in a studio for 2 years and has everything one would need. Management is overall very attentive, very helpful, and flexible. Would move back in a heartbeat! Had a great experience and George and everyone on staff make it very easy to work with and a overall great place to stay.

I lived in the Hamilton House for 2.5 years. I’ve loved every single day of it. Other friends I have that lived in a Keener managed building have the same thoughts.

The apartment building is modern & residential. It has a ground level pool and a rooftop that’s never overcrowded in the summer.

The staff is so kind, welcoming, and communicates with you by name. George in the management office has been my number one resource for that building. He gets back to you right away with anything you need and us very helpful.

The Hamilton House is a nice place with great staff. George, Jason, and Sandra are very friendly and responsive. They can always solve our problems. The management even constantly organizes activities to help residents know each other and have fun.
Location is also a plus. The neiborhood is pretty safe and convenient. I would definitely recommend this place to everyone!

I had moved apartment 4 times in the past few years, and The Hamilton House gives me the best living experience. The managers, George and Philipe, are extremely responsive. Everyone working at the front desk tries to be helpful whenever s/he can. The "people" component is the main reason I like here. I would highly recommend this apartment for the great location, good pricing, and especially its wonderful management team.

George and the management, as well as the staff are amazing at this apartment--makes the modern well maintained apartment even more enjoyable!!! It is very clean, well maintained and i always feel very safe staying here!

Its location is amazing and everything is within a walking distance! I've had no complaints living here!!!

Outstanding place to live.  I lived here and so did a coworker and a friend.  All of us really enjoyed it here.  Location was so close to work, I could walk to red/blue/silver/yellow lines in minutes.  I lived on the first floor facing the pool and it couldn't have been more convenient.  24/7 concierge/security staff were always polite and accommodating.  The pool was great.  George and David are two of the nicest guys I have ever met and handled any issues that came up quickly and always with a smile.  Oh, and there's free coffee off the lobby for residents.  Might seem like a small detail but for a copious coffee consumer like me, it was clutch.  Highly recommend this place, 5/5.  You won't regret if you rent here.

I lived in Hamilton House for two years 2016-2018, and would live here in a heartbeat again if I worked in the area. The building itself is in an amazing location and everything you need is within walking distance. I never had a single issue with my apartment unit, and I found the walls to be thick enough that you couldn't hear the neighbors. The building has a good mix of people living here, including many young professionals.

Very important- the staff at Hamilton House truly make the building feel like home. The front desk (especially Tony, Julia), maintenance teams, and George and David, the management team, are THE ABSOLUTE BEST. They will truly take care of you and make living here a breeze (moving in, moving out, daily errands). I've lived in many apartment buildings and nothing compares. If you're looking to move to the DC, I highly recommend that you look into living here!!

I have lived at the Hamilton House for over two years. The amenities are great and hard to find in DC. The employees at the front desk are always friendly and maintenance resolves any issues quickly. Also, the property managers are fantastic. They're helpful and easy to work with. I can't say enough good things about living here.

Have lived in Hamilton House for one year, and I cannot speak more highly of the building, and its management. This is the third managed building that I have lived in, and by far the best. Managers George and David, and a highly attentive front desk and maintenance staff are incredibly responsive to every need--from deliveries, to dry-cleaning, to immediate responses to maintenance requests. When I moved to Washington from Boston, building management really went out of their way to make the move seamless. Quiet, in a great location, and newly renovated apartments. I have no intention of leaving anytime soon

Living in the Hamilton House was a wonderful experience. From the easy leasing process to maintenance requests being responded to immediately. George and David (management for the building) are some of the best management I have met in an apartment building. They genuinely care about their residents and are always there to answer questions. Shout out to Sondra at the front desk throughout the week who is an absolute gem. She always steps in to help with anything. She is such a wonderful face to see when coming home.

The alcove studio apartment was very spacious, had a beautiful open kitchen, and let in tons of natural light.

Overall, fantastic experience for my time spent there. Definitely check it out!

Hamilton House has been a fantastic place to live and I highly recommend it without any reservations. The building is well maintained, quiet, and tended by kind and attentive staff. The property managers, George and David, are superb and very trustworthy. They go out of their way to make Hamilton House a great home for the residents, respond to questions quickly, and keep the building looking great. I have lived here for a year and I will be sad to go.

I moved to DC back in summer of 2016. Upon moving to the area, I did research on nearly **a hundred** apartment buildings in DC. Keener Management always seemed to come out on top. In a few months I'll be renewing my lease for the third year!

I moved in the winter to one of the newly renovated buildings, brand new appliances, a lot of closet space, and hardwood floors - I made up my mind instantly. The management, George and David make the housing experience as painless as possible! Great team, and great building.
